Teach with fun and play, Learning!
This Ignatian Krasicki’s enlightenment motto reflects the idea of our weekly meetings. Through singing, reciting poems, educational games, as well as a wide range of manual, art and movement classes, children learn about Polish culture, traditions, and customs. Meanwhile, parents have the opportunity to talk freely and exchange experiences related to the bilingual nature of their children. The Edmund Strzelecki Melbourne Polish School provides the pre-school group with access to the playground equipment and a great collection of toys, books, and educational games.
Besides, parents have permanent access to the kitchen, where you can prepare coffee/tea, as well as a school shop, where every Saturday you can taste delicious fresh donuts, as well as many other Polish delicacies.
Strzelecki Playgroup meets every Saturday of the Vic school year from 9.30 am – 11.00am. Please check the Calendar of School Activities for the current year.

Important Notes
We attach great importance to the quality of teaching in our educational offer. Therefore, the curriculum implemented in our school is based on the Community Languages F-10 (Foundation – Year 10) Syllabus developed by The Victorian Curriculum And Assessment Authority (The VCAA) and complies with the Core Curriculum for Polish students learning abroad (Warsaw 2010). The goal of this program is to motivate children to learn Polish, to pique their interest in Polish history, culture and to encourage them to act as a “young Polish ambassador” in their surroundings.
